Experienced Animal Attendant (Eltham)

- Casual position (approx. 25
- 30 hours per week, with potential for more)
- Monday to Friday roster (must be available all 5 days)
- Operating hours: 7:00am – 6:30pm
- Flexibility required to cover leave when needed
- Pay based on experience and qualifications Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service with attention to detail
- Maintain centre standards, policies, and procedures
- Build strong relationships with pet parents through clear communication
- Perform daily admin tasks (emails, calls, record keeping, data entry)
- Supervise and manage groups of dogs, ensuring safety and wellbeing
- Provide daily enrichment activities
- Conduct temperament assessments
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility
- Capture photos/videos and create social media content About You
- Experience working with groups of dogs
- Experience must specifically be in dog daycare facilities or balanced dog training with a minimum of 1 year experience
- Strong understanding of dog behaviour and handling skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Certificate II in Animal Care (or similar) preferred
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Basic social media content creation skills (Facebook & Instagram)
- Competent in creating and posting social media content with basic posting ability
- Ideally located within 30 minutes of Eltham
- Current driver's licence
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Available for a 2-hour unpaid trial shift What We Offer
