- Relocation assistance The Role In the role of Manager (Delivery & Operations) and as a member of the District Leadership Team, you will support the Regional Director in achieving the region's strategic outcomes by sponsoring, coordinating and accepting final accountability for the delivery of the District's total program of infrastructure projects. Accountabilities
- Provide authoritative, strategic and operational program management advice to the District Director and Program Managers on program delivery issues, and lead project management for the portfolio of regional transport infrastructure projects during development and implementation phases.
- Monitor and report on the progress of projects against program priorities to the District Director, Program Performance Advisor and Program Management Team.
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with other government agencies, industry, stakeholders, community and client networks, and lead the public consultation and communication activities associated with the district program to ensure effective engagement.
- Ensure the application of all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary to support responsible decisions and quality outcomes for all phases of project delivery of road infrastructure projects on the works program.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues associated with projects and prepare submissions and reports relating to planning and technical issues to improve overall performance and ensure value-for-money and effective project delivery.
- Act as ‘Representative of the Principal' for the delivery of contracts as defined and delegated at the implementation phase. Mandatory & Desirable Qualifications
- Four‑year, Washington Accord accredited Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia.
- Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is mandatory for appointment.
- Current Class C driver license.
