About the Role

Are you compassionate, switched on, and passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting customers in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Emerald.

This casual position offers flexible schedule including active awake night shifts. You’ll be working as part of a committed team to provide tailored support in the home and out in the community.

About You Previous experience in the health sector with support or community care is preferred Applicants should have a strong understanding of mealtime support and PEG feeding procedures. Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders and is a team player Has experience working with complex healthcare plans, implementing care plans and handling mental and physical health challenges Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease Availability for early start shifts and flexibility to adapt to changing needs
