Shamali Café & Restaurant is currently looking for an experienced Chef to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan menus and prepare a variety of dishes in accordance with workplace standards

• Oversee food production and ensure quality, presentation, and taste meet standards

• Manage kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control, and food safety compliance

• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene, health, and safety protocols

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and implement compliance with food hygiene regulations

• Collaborate with front-of-house staff and management to respond to customer feedback and dietary requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Formal culinary qualifications or industry experience (e.g., Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery)

• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen workplace

• Thorough knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP)

• Robust leadership, time management, and communication skills

Annual Salary: AUD 76,515 to AUD 80,000
