Barcaldine Regional Council are on the lookout for two hardworking and motivated individuals to join the Maintenance Works Team in Barcaldine. We are looking for an outstanding candidate that can deliver high quality work while following timelines and adhering to WHS policies and procedures. You will also possess a great work ethic and attitude. You must be comfortable using a range or hand tools and skills in civil construction, concreting, and an MR licence are highly regarded. Classification Level: Level 3 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State **** and the Barcaldine Regional Council Certified Agreement ****. Wage: Minimum base salary of $68,****** per annum + Superannuation (up to 12%) and relevant approved allowances. Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly. Hours of work: 76 hours over 9 days with a rostered day off (RDO) every fortnight. Leave Entitlements: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% Loading.
