Mining Supervisor (Central Highlands Regional)

Golding is currently seeking an Experienced Mining Supervisor to join our team at Jellinbah Mine, situated near Blackwater. Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, successful candidates will bring extensive experience in truck and excavator operations, along with a strong initiative and a results-oriented approach to both safety and production outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team in a agile mining environment. Operating on a rotating Lifestyle roster of 5 Days/4 off/5 Nights/5 off/4 Days/5 off/4 Nights/4 off/5 Days/5 off/4 Nights/5 off. Local employees are eligible for a housing allowance, whereas non-local employees receive camp accommodation and meals. Additionally, a project allowance is included in the annual salary. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations and crews adhere to the Safety and Health Management Systems
- Supervise crew members, managing performance and workplace behaviour
- Prepare teams for daily tasks through effective planning, reinforced at pre-start meetings
- Provide technical guidance to team members within your area of expertise
- Assign work tasks and supervise their execution according to the established plan
- Operate equipment during hot seating, drainage, and face setup to maximise productive time during each shift Key Requirements
- Current Trainer Assessor certification
- S123 and G2 Qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage change, influence, motivate, mediate, negotiate, and enhance team performance, satisfaction, and skill levels
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders, including clients
- Proven ability to identify and eliminate workplace hazards
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with information systems, including Safety Databases Benefits
