Supply and Distribution Manager (Epping)

**SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION MANAGER**

Melba Fresh Providore Pty Ltd was founded in 1991 and is based in the Northern Suburbs. The company is a wholesaler in the Fresh Produce Industry and primarily supplies the Food Service/Hospitality sectors.

We are looking for a dedicated team player to work full time as our Supply & Distribution Manager.

**The Role**

This position will require an extremely motivated and energetic person who loves working within a small friendly team environment as well as autonomously.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

- Assisting in negotiating with suppliers to ensure quality,
- Implementation of policies to monitor purchases, storage and distribution,
- Monitoring and ensuring that stock is re ordered to maintain par levels as set,
- Monitoring the recording of purchases,
- Overseeing staff and monitoring their performance to ensure the maintenance of company standards,
- Liaising with procurement to ensure stock & supplies required
- Assisting with distribution strategies
- Ad hoc tasks as required

To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 3 years in a similar role performing the above duties within a high-volume workplace, you will also have:

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal,
- Exposure within Fresh Produce/ Food & Hospitality industry,
- Exceptional time management skills/working with deadlines,
- Ability to work autonomously and without supervision,
- Ability to manage staff and resolve any team conflict,
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy and a proactive attitude.

Pay: $94,775.00
- $100,350.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
