Café Barista (Moonee Ponds)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team at Macelleria Moonee Ponds. You will be working with our existing team as we look to expand our operation to include Mornings & Breakfast. This role will primarily involve Morning Hours and some early Afternoons. BARISTA EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Barista Experience**: This role will require prior knowledge and experience using an Espresso machine and preparing a variety of Café Beverages including: Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino, Macchiato and Chai, as well as smoothies and Frappes. TO eb successful in this role will require you to be able to handle multiple coffee orders at the same time, and manage docket times within the bar.
- **Customer experience**: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide an excellent dining experience for our customers. This will include being friendly and receptive to customer needs throughout the week, and working to resolve any possible issues with their dining experience. We believe that the customer is the centre of our business, and as a result the customer experience is always a priority.
- **Punctuality & Presentation**:Arriving to Shifts on time and in uniform is essential.
- **Kitchen Quality Control**:Ensuring that the quality of food coming out of the Kitchen is up to standard and will not result in a negative customer experience. This will involve communicating and working in unison with the Back of House to achieve higher customer satisfaction and retention.

**A Minimum of 2 years Café and Barista Experience is Required for this Role.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00
- $65,000.00 per year
