Farro is seeking a dedicated cook for our Moonee Ponds kitchen. About Us, Farro is an organic spelt sourdough pizzeria with multiple locations across Melbourne, built on the belief that guests should be empowered to make conscious food choices about what they eat. Farro is much more than just quality, nutritious food — it is a complete dining experience, combining warm ambiance, genuine hospitality, and exceptional guest care. As a cook at Farro, you will need to be able to proficiently operate the pasta section independently as well as support other sections of the kitchen including prep work and general chef duties when needed to company standard and work comfortably in a busy environment. Our restaurants are open Monday to Thursday for dinner service, and Friday to Sunday for both lunch and dinner service. Why Join Us?

- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes to company recipes and standard within the pasta section
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service and preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Stay knowledgeable about ingredient quality, freshness, and seasonality, ensuring the use of the highest quality ingredients.
- Uphold proper portion control and minimize waste through proper production planning and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times.
- Support other sections when needed About you
- experience similar roles desired in a high-volume, full-services restaurant
- Working knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
