Guest Service Supervisor PM shift (Moonee Ponds)

About the role

The Sebel Melbourne Moonee Ponds' is seeking a talented Guest Service Supervisor to join our dynamic hospitality team in a part-time or full time capacity. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and overseeing front-of-house operations during the evening. This role is ideal for a current Over Night person seeking a new opportunity. What you'll be doing
- Providing superior customer service and addressing guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Working with the front desk team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
- Handling guest check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and managing reservations
- Ensuring the property is well-maintained and adhering to safety and security protocols
- Troubleshooting any issues that may arise and implementing appropriate solutions
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as reporting and record-keeping
- Promoting the hotel's facilities and services to guests
- Completing end of day reporting and all relevant check lists What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Guest Service or Duty Manager role within the hospitality industry
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Proficient in using hotel management software and systems
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality or customer service management would be an advantage What we offer
