Receptionist Physio & Gym – Part Time 1 Day/week (Essendon)

Melbourne Centre for Athletic Performance is a high-performance facility that offers physiotherapy, remedial massage, dietician, psychology and strength and conditioning. Our mission is to provide high-quality services to the local community however we specialise in those training at an elite competitive level as well as young and upcoming athletes.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic receptionist to join our team based in Essendon. The role will be based in our main reception area where you will be the first point of contact for anyone entering the clinic.

Must have current availability during the below hours/days: Mondays or Wednesdays: 2pm
- 7pm

Key Responsibilities: Meeting and greeting all patients

Answering phone calls and responding to emails

Processing payments

Completing recent patient admission documentation

Liaising with patients via phone/email

Typing letters

Booking patient appointments (recent, review and post-operative)

Liaising with other health professionals as required

Producing and sending invoices to insurance companies, Medicare and patients

Ordering supplies and managing equipment for consulting rooms

Managing the computer database of bookings, notes, correspondence, invoices, etc.

Scanning of documentation into paperless systems

General cleaning/housekeeping of clinic areas

To be successful this position you must posses the following:

Great interpersonal skills

Positive can do attitude

Solid attention to detail, organisational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ideal
- experience or interest working in a sports allied health clinic/ gym environment

Previous experience working using HICAPS and Nookal software is highly desirable but not essential
