Medical Receptionist - Part Time/casual (Previous …, Moonee Ponds

We are a highly regarded Musculoskeletal Medicine Clinic in Moonee Ponds, with a team of passionate staff who pride themselves on the wellbeing of others.

What the Role looks like: We are seeking a person with strong customer service experience to join our team. This role involves providing Reception support to the patients who access our services., as well as Administration support to the Practice Manager and Osteopaths.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Communication and Reception
- Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
- Assist with checking in/checking out of patients and waiting list

*Appointments & Scheduling
- Manage bookings, cancellations and Osteopath Calendars
- Co ordinate appointments for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records across Administrative systems (Cliniko)

*Billing and Financial Administration
- Process Payments, invoices and receipts (including Medicare care plans)

*Administrative Support
- Maintain patient files

*About you*

We're looking for someone who:

- Previous experience in a Front desk or Reception Role
- Has experience in Customer Service
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can work effectively under pressure in a busy environment
- Has solid interpersonal skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Is confident with Computers and typing
- Works well collaboratively as part of a team

*Desirable*
- Experience using Cliniko or a similar client management and booking system
- Understanding of funding and rebates (private health insurance and relevant Medicare care plan claims)
