Apprenticeships R Us are recruiting for a 1st Year Spare Parts Interpreter Apprentice in the Essendon, VIC area.

Automotive Spare Parts Interpreters sell automotive parts and accessories. An apprenticeship in parts interpreting is the pathway that leads to a variety of career opportunities.

As an apprentice you will learn how to identify the make, model, and variations of motor vehicles and automotive parts, as well as process and place customer orders.

This role is suitable for an individual who has an interest in IT/Window’s based programs, and enjoys administrative and clerical work. If you have an interest in motor vehicle parts and have valuable communication and sales skills, this is the career for you!

As a Spare Parts Interpreter apprentice, you will learn to:

Be enrolled in a nationally recognized Certificate III in Automotive Sales

Identify the make, model and variations of motor vehicles and automotive equipment

Talk to customers to find out their exact needs and recommend the appropriate parts

Regularly check databases to identify and locate parts

Ordering parts from the warehouse to external suppliers

Calculating tax, discounts and prices

Preparing invoices for the sale of the stock

Processing cash and credit transactions

Collecting, packing and dispatching or delivering of ordered parts

Participating in stocktaking and updating computer data

Assisting customers in repairing or replacing parts

Setting up merchandise displays

As an apprentice, you will receive:
