- Achieve maximum sales at highest margin returns.
- Service, maintain and grow designated customer base.
- Strong focus on developing new business sales from current and adjacent markets.
- Plan daily, weekly & annual objectives / activities to maximise customer contact / effectiveness.
- Develop business relationships with key decision makers to further our business interests.
- Service customer order and delivery requirements to optimise customer satisfaction within, product lead time guidelines.
- Maximise SEE profitability by margin maximisation initiatives & implementation of price changes.
- Creation, implementation and monitoring of progress of meaningful business plans for major/significant customers within designated territory.
- Maintain accurate forecasting of customer requirements via designated methods.
- Manage SEE inventory within company guidelines.
- Assist in the collection of outstanding Debtors and the enforcement of SEE trading terms.
- Make presentations to customers and co-ordinate training of customer personnel as appropriate.
- Provide reports as requested, on time, with the accuracy and detail required for the purpose including in-plant audits.
- Maintain and update all record systems such as price book, Scorecards, CRM, customer files and product releases.
- Maintain high standard of personal presentation and housekeeping.
- Support key marketing thrusts with appropriate sales development / trial programs.
- Gain business at targeted new accounts within pricing/margin guidelines.
- Support key marketing and new product programmes (MPU’s) and gain business at targeted new accounts with pricing margin guidelines.
- Identify potential equipment sales opportunities and follow-up with proposals and quotations to secure equipment sales.
- Liaise with appropriate customer personnel to ensure equipment running SEE materials is in optimal condition.
- Initiate appropriate systems such as stock & order reports to manage finished goods inventory. Qualifications
- Demonstrated Sales experience, with packaging Account Management experience.
** Food Care**: Direct experience in FRM (Fresh Red Meat) market would be advantageous. ** Protective**: Direct experience with channel partner businesses would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated proven ability to build and nurture customer relationships.
- Demonstrated history of identifying, nurturing, and securing recent business.
- Food / industrial and associated packaging materials / equipment experience.
- Able to demonstrate high level of decision-making skills.
- Able to demonstrate self-management skills and excellent time management skills.
- Have high level of strategic level planning and analytical skills.
- High level of communication skills.
- Organised and systemic thinking skills.
- Comfortable working in a large organisation with a matrix organizational structure.
- Computer literacy and systems / policy knowledge for: Office 365 / Word, Excel & PowerPoint (mandatory) SAP (advantageous)
- Able to travel for short / periods of time (interstate / overseas).
**EDUCATION / TRAINING**:
- Level of Tertiary Education, i.e. Diploma, Degree, Masters etc. in a related discipline. Packaging Industry Qualification / Certifications an advantage.
- Driver’s License
