Quality Assurance Officer (Fawkner)

Our client in the packaging manufacturing sector is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer for 4 months to ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications. This role is based in Fawkner and ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and contributing to continuous improvement. The Role The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for monitoring, validating, and reporting on product quality across the manufacturing process. You will work closely with production teams to investigate issues, conduct corrective actions, and maintain compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products
- Ensure products meet internal quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Identify defects, non-conformance, and quality issues and report findings clearly
- Create corrective and preventative actions to improve product quality
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and documentation
- Conduct audits according to GMP and compliance requirements
- Work collaboratively with production and operations teams to promote quality awareness About You
- Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
- Solid computer skills
