Machine Operator - Blending (Coburg North)

**The Role**:Manufacturing Operator / Blender
- ideal minimum 2 years experience and interested to learn.

The role will be within our manufacturing facility and will attend to weighing, batching and blending of spices and herbs.

**Duties**:

- Prepare plant and equipment in accordance with relevant SOP’s.
- Follow Job Sheets and carry out formulations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comply with all general safety directions for the workplace
- Ensure that all plant and equipment used is in good safe working order eg; machine guards are in place.
- Ensure that all raw materials are QC approved before using.
- Ensure all raw materials being returned to the store are done so in the prescribed manner.
- Valuable interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 20 kilograms
- Able to multitask and to foresee and avoid problems
- Able to work independently, in a safety and quality conscious manner, with a team
- Must have own safety shoes
- Must have own Transport.

**Forklift licence advantageous.**

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
