In this role, you’ll become a trusted presence in the community, helping ensure the safety of schoolchildren, parents, teachers and local motorists. This casual position provides relief at sites within the Singleton Local Government Area. Shifts may fall between school zone hours (8.00 to 9.30 AM and 2.30 to 4.00 PM) with a minimum of one hour shift as required, Monday to Friday during the school term. You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation. About You You are a community-minded person who would like to contribute. You enjoy building community relationships, keeping kids safe while earning a weekly wage doing something you love. You are reliable and prepared to show up for your community in all weather. Qualifications and Requirements Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment are provided. Because you will be working with children on our roads, you must be willing to obtain (or already have) a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment. If you do not have these yet, support is available to complete the process. If you already have a Working with Children Check, that will help speed up the process.
