About the Role As Practice Manager, you’ll take a hands‑on leadership role, balancing operational management with clinical involvement. You will occasionally participate in nursing duties, so excellent animal handling skills and strong veterinary nursing knowledge are essential. Your role will include:
- Managing day‑to‑day clinic operations, including:
- Rostering
- Stock management
- People leadership
- Client records
- Leading and developing the team to deliver outstanding client experience and patient care
- Building a positive, supportive team culture
- Monitoring performance and ensuring monthly KPIs are achieved
- Driving business growth through local marketing initiatives
- Providing nursing support, training, and mentoring as required This role suits both a first‑time Practice Manager or an experienced leader looking to work in a well‑supported, community‑focused clinic. About You You’ll bring:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience)
- Experience as a Practice Manager or Senior Veterinary Nurse with leadership responsibilities
- Excellent animal handling and solid clinical knowledge
- Strong communication, organisation, and people‑management skills
- A genuine passion for patients, clients, and team wellbeing
