Description:

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Manager, the role involves general nursery duties including potting, weeding, watering, plant maintenance, order collation, loading transport, and general nursery duties.

The position is full time, working a five-day Monday to Friday roster, based at the Monbulk advanced tree facility with occasional travel to the principal operations located at Wantirna.

Skills and Experiences:

Essential attributes

To be successful as a Plantmark Advanced Tree Nursery Hand, you will have:

Experience working in plant growing facilities / nursery production

Plant / Tree knowledge or eager to learn ornamental and native varieties

Reliable with a sense of responsibility and able to make mature, sound decisions

Confident working autonomously, as well as within a small, specialised team

Licenced forklift operator preferred

AgChem certificate an advantage

Applicants must also be physically fit and capable of performing regular manual handling tasks that include lifting and bending. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Some weekend work will be required on a rotational basis.
