Production Worker Ottoway

The role

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our Adbri Masonry team as a Production Operator based in Ottoway, South Australia.

We have an chance to assist in the production of high-end quality Masonry products as part of a company which strives to maintain its position as a market leader. This full-time permanent role will require you to be flexible and be available for day and afternoon shifts with the possibility of weekend work.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety, health and setting standards are maintained

Operate production line machinery and learn to oversee all areas of production on the site incorporating desired levels of quality, quality output, efficiencies, production techniques and costs

Contribute to improved production techniques and system efficiencies

Communicate a clear handover between shifts to other operators and the maintenance team

High understanding of quality assurance/control, conducting routine quality inspections

Perform manual physical work including product handling and pallet repairs

Housekeeping and cleaning as required

What you will need to succeed

Exhibit a strong commitment to environment, quality, health and wellbeing

Experience in a masonry manufacturing environment

Possess a proactive and positive attitude

Strong mechanical aptitude and be process orientated

Forklift High Risk Licence
