Maintenance Fitter Athol Park

Our client based in the northern suburbs of metropolitan Adelaide is looking for maintenance fitter for their food processing facility.

We are looking for team players to undertake preventative maintenance on various food manufacturing plant and equipment. You will need the ability to analyze, diagnose, repair, modify or install parts and equipment working to minimize downtime. This will involve studying drawings to determine suitable material, sequence of operations, and machine settings.

The suitable applicant needs to have the following attributes:

AQF certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of at least 3 years of experience.

As a fitter able to fits and assembles metal parts etc.

Experience with repair damaged and worn parts and equipment working on hydraulics and conveyors and other manufacturing machinery.

Ability to analyze and eliminate maintenance problems.

Able to work under pressure, acting independently and part of a team.

Contribute and support outcomes of maintenance toolbox meetings.

Comply with company policies and procedures, and occupational health and safety.

Available to help train and support other team members

You will have the ability to communicate on all levels and work well within a team.

This is a full time position with a basic salary range of between $70,000
