Deputy Cfo (Footscray)

The Deputy CFO is responsible for Financial, Systems and Operational Accounting functions, ensuring that VU meets its statutory reporting and compliance requirements with a high-quality stakeholder engagement and a focus on service excellence.

About you:

- You are an accomplished finance leader with significant experience in financial accounting, capital and treasury management, systems and operational accounting within complex service environments;
- You excel at strategic and operational leadership, with a proven track record in driving transformational change, delivering high value improvements in systems and processes, and fostering a high-performing service-oriented team;
- Your analytical and problem-solving skills are astute, enabling you to provide high quality insights and advice on complex financial issues, while exercising sound judgement and flexibility in a dynamic, high-volume setting; andYou are a cooperative communicator, adept at building relationships and negotiating across diverse stakeholders, and you champion the University’s values of being welcoming, ethical, future-focused and working together.
