As a member of the housekeeping team at Jemalong Retirement Village, you will be providing high quality cleaning, catering & laundry services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents rooms and common areas are clean and presentable. About the Role:
- Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents rooms
- Supporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spirit
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures What you’ll need:
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Previous experience working as a cleaner or catering assistant
- Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
- A reliable team player
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance What we offer:
