Skilled Water Operators (Labourers) - multiple roles. (Forbes)

Job Description An exciting opportunity has become available for a multi-skilled labourer to join the Water and Sewer Department of Forbes Shire Council. Reporting directly to the Supervisor Water, the aim of this position is key in operating, maintaining, and repairing Council’s Water Treatment Facility, Sewer Treatment Plant, and water and sewer reticulation infrastructure, projects, and operations on behalf of Forbes Shire Council and the community. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will work to achieve timely and appropriate outcomes on an exciting range of projects including the build‑out of water and sewer infrastructure for industrial and residential estates, and maintenance works across the Shire. Please note: for these roles, we provide training on the job in water retic, maintenance and metering works. You bring a hardworking, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn and we will ensure you gain necessary skills, knowledge and tickets/licenses.
