Carpenter ( Leading hand) – Full time

Savo Constructions Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Carpenter ( Leading hand ) to join our team.

We work across NSW and VIC on residential renovations, extensions and new builds.

Accommodation is provided when working away in these locations.

This role would suit someone who is reliable, well-organised, takes pride in their workmanship, and is confident running a small carpentry team.

The role

Your duties will include: Running a small carpentry team on residential projects ( Leading hand ) Working closely with the Project Manager to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Reading and interpreting plans, scopes of work and site instructions Coordinating daily site tasks, materials and subcontractors where required Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with Australian Standards Maintaining safe and clean work environments Following and maintaining SWMS and safe work procedures Keeping positive communication and a positive team culture on site Working independently when required

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have: White Card Certificate III or IV in Carpentry, or equivalent qualification Full working rights in Australia. No WHV visa holders. Solid knowledge of Australian Standards and residential construction Previous experience leading a small team Clean background check Own reliable vehicle, preferably a 4WD Own cordless tool set Strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail

What we offer Full-time position $55 per hour + superannuation. Flat rate
- no overtime compensation. Projects include renovations, extensions and new builds. Accommodation provided when working away Variety of residential & commercial projects across NSW and VIC Supportive team environment Opportunity to take responsibility and grow with the company

Pay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour
