Agricultural Mobile Plant Operator

At Youngara partnership, we are looking for a skilled Agricultural Mobile Plant Operator to work on a full time basis (at least 38 hours per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operating tractors, harvesters, sprayers, forklifts, and other agricultural machinery to support planting, cultivation, harvesting, and crop maintenance activities;

· Preparing farmland through soil preparation, seeding, fertilising, and land conditioning using specialised mobile plant equipment;

· Transporting crops, produce, farming materials, fertilisers, and equipment between work areas, storage facilities, and processing locations using agricultural machinery;

· Operating spraying equipment to assist with crop treatment, weed management, pest control, and water distribution across farming operations;

· Conducting routine servicing, safety checks, refuelling, and minor maintenance on machinery and mobile plant equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimise downtime;

· Assisting with harvesting operations by operating mechanical harvesters, loaders, and handling equipment to collect, move, and load agricultural products efficiently;

· Following workplace health and safety procedures while operating heavy machinery and carrying out farming activities in accordance with operational and environmental requirements.

Requirements:


· Relevant qualification or 1 year of experience in lieu of the qualification.

· At least 1 year of experience.

· Positive time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

· Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with other staff and contractors.

Position: Full Time

Salary: $75,000
- $90,0000 per year
