- Salary starting from $113,574pa + super

Central West Local Land Services is seeking a proactive, hands‑on Senior Land Services Officer (NRM) to identify and manage a variety of priority landscape and threatened species projects and programs across the region. About the Role As part of a dynamic and geographically dispersed team, you will:
- Deliver timely, high-quality advisory and extension services to landholders, stakeholders, industry groups, and partners
- Build strong relationships with landholders to lead and deliver on‑ground NRM and agricultural productivity projects, while identifying new opportunities in collaboration with the wider NRM team
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to small project teams
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to deliver accurate, balanced advice, reports, and recommendations
- Develop and strengthen partnerships and collaborative opportunities
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on program and project outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement and strategic planning About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A degree in agriculture, environmental science, or natural resource management (or equivalent industry experience and knowledge)
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy, including natural resource management, agriculture, biosecurity, and emergency management
- A genuine passion for natural resource management and sustainable land use
- Proven project management experience, with strong relationship‑building and partnership development skills
- The ability to engage effectively with landholders and NRM stakeholders, understanding their needs and priorities
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of regional landscapes and threatened species
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, solutions‑focused mindset, with the ability to think creatively and solve complex problems As an essential requirement of the role, you’ll also need to have a current NSW Driver Licence, and the capacity and willingness to travel throughout Central West NSW as required.
