Weed Control Officer (Biosecurity) (Forbes Shire Council)

Job Description An exciting prospect has become available to join the Waste and Natural Resources Department of Forbes Shire Council as the Weed Control Officer. Reporting directly to the Manager Waste and Natural Resources, the aim of this position is to develop a working knowledge of the legislative and regulatory requirements related to Weed Management to achieve intended outcomes, including compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures, and implement the weed spraying program on behalf of Forbes Shire Council and the community. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will work to achieve timely and appropriate outcomes in a critical area of Council control.
