You will be the go-to technical resource for customers, working alongside sales to design, program, and deliver motion control, robotics, and automation solutions that genuinely improve productivity. This is remote-first with travel to customer sites around 50% of the time, all fully reimbursed. You will work with cutting-edge platforms like Bosch Rexroth ctrlX (Codesys) and integrate robotics, conveyors, and vision systems into complete solutions. - Partner with account managers on customer meetings, needs analysis, and technical proposals
- Design and program automation solutions, including PLCs, motion control, and robotics
- Conduct product demonstrations, training, and technical presentations
- Lead commissioning, troubleshooting, and post-sales support
- Collaborate with vendors to size and select components for optimal performance
- Document projects and create technical resources for future use What you will need
- Hands-on controls engineering experience from concept to commissioning
- Strong PLC programming skills, ideally with Bosch Rexroth and Codesys (Siemens experience is transferable)
- Knowledge of motion control, robotics, and industrial communication protocols
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers
- Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities
