Unique Metals Laser has multiple sites in Australian mainland states that provide high precision laser cutting and fabrication services to a variety of industries. About The Role We are seeking an Apprentice Sheet Metal Fabricator for our manufacturing site at Wetherill Park, NSW. The qualification on completion would be a Certificate III Engineering Light Fabrication. The successful applicant will be punctual and reliable, be willing to learn and apply new techniques, learn new systems, and above all, be a team player. About The Candidate To be considered for the apprenticeship you need no experience but must have the following attributes:
- 2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship.
- Good communication, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and take instructions from qualified tradesmen
- Trade level mathematics skills (year 10 minimum)
- Genuine interest in beginning a career in metal fabrication
- Process of completing or completed prevocational course in metal fabrication (encouraged to apply)
- Metalwork (or similar) subject completion (year 10 minimum)
- Demonstrated IT literacy
- Someone who takes pride in their work
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
- It would be beneficial to have a car licence but not essential Benefits
