About The Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Sheet Metal Fabricator for our manufacturing site at Wetherill Park, NSW. The qualification on completion would be a Certificate III Engineering Light Fabrication.

The successful applicant will be punctual and reliable, be willing to learn and apply current techniques, learn current systems, and above all, be a team player.

About The Candidate

To be considered for the apprenticeship you need no experience but must have the following attributes:

2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship.

Positive communication, and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and take instructions from qualified tradesmen

Trade level mathematics skills (year 10 minimum)

Genuine interest in beginning a career in metal fabrication

Process of completing or completed prevocational course in metal fabrication (encouraged to apply)

Metalwork (or similar) subject completion (year 10 minimum)

Demonstrated IT literacy

Someone who takes pride in their work

Motivated and eager to learn

Reliable, honest, and trustworthy

It would be beneficial to have a car licence but not essential
