Security and Resilience Operations Officer (Fortitude Valley)

We’re currently looking for a Security & Resilience Operations Officer to join our Risk and Resilience Group for a 12 month fixed term. If you thrive in dynamic environments and want to make a real impact, we want to hear from you.

About the role

As a key member of the Risk and Resilience team, you’ll be instrumental in supporting the operational delivery of Urban Utilities’ security and resilience functions. This includes:

- Administering and maintaining emergency management and security systems.
- Supporting incident response, investigations and lessons learned reporting.
- Contributing to the delivery of threat assessments, security audits and risk evaluations.
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholder relationships, including emergency services and contractors.
- Supporting education, training and awareness activities across the organisation.
- Contributing to security-related projects and improvement programs.
- Participating in an on-call roster to support continuity of critical services.

What you’ll bring
- Experience in security and/or emergency management operations and system administration.
- Familiarity with systems such as Gallagher or Genetec highly regarded.
- Strong planning, coordination and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

A diploma or certificate in a relevant discipline is highly regarded. You’ll also need to meet security clearance requirements and be available for on-call duties.
