About the Role

We are seeking a FULL TIME and a CASUAL CHEF to join the team at Romeo, a current Italian restaurant in Bulimba.

Romeo is the next chapter from the team behind Scugnizzi and Doughcraft. This venue focuses on simple, produce-driven Italian food, strong hospitality culture, and consistent execution. We are building a team of people who take pride in their craft and want to be part of something from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute dishes consistently across service Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness Support with prep, section management, and service execution Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times Assist with stock rotation, organisation, and kitchen maintenance

About You

Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment Passion for Italian food and quality produce Solid work ethic and ability to perform under pressure Reliable, punctual, and a team player Good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards Ability to maintain consistency and attention to detail during service
