Graduate/ Entry level Structural Engineer-QLD (Fortitude Valley)

Your next opportunity awaits at NTRO Join NTRO's Structures team, focused on delivering key bridge and transportation structures asset projects to clients across private and public sector. This role is suited to individuals with experience in the design, inspection, construction and management of transportation structures.

We are seeking individuals who are keen to be a part of NTRO's future and who will be a key team member contributing to the delivery of local, State, National and International projects and initiatives. We have an exciting role available within the Structures Team for a Graduate and early career ;level Engineer. This role will be full-time, based within our Melbourne or Brisbane office.

Main duties of the role

- Contribute to applied research and implementation of solutions to transport infrastructure clients
- Assist in the delivery of key bridge and other transport structural asset projects, including undertaking bridge inspections in Australia, New Zealand and abroad.
- Have a strong desire to further develop skills and capabilities to become an expert in structural engineering for transportation infrastructure.
- Consider safety in all aspects of the projects you are involved, with a desire to improve safety wherever possible. Skills

- Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (Structural)
- 1-3 years' experience in related field
- Desirable to have some structural and condition assessment/rating skills backed by sound knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Desirable to have some experience in structural design and/or structural assessment as well as asset valuation and remaining life determination
- Great verbal, presentation and written communication skills
- Experience in writing technical reports
- Looking to continue developing your skilled registration in achieving MIEAust, and future RPEQ / RPEV, CPEng, NER.
