**The Opportunity**

As a **Housekeeping Assistant**, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital. From patient rooms to shared spaces, your work will ensure our clinic remains a safe and supportive environment for recovery and care.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and hospital facilities to a high standard.
- Making patient beds and distributing linen.
- Cleaning, restocking, and safely storing equipment.
- Working collaboratively with your team to achieve shared goals.
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff and colleagues.

**About You**

You are reliable, motivated, and take pride in delivering excellent housekeeping services. With a strong work ethic and a positive, “can do” attitude, you enjoy working as part of a team while also being able to manage tasks independently.

**You will bring**:

- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (minimum 2 years highly regarded).
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting (highly regarded).
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to also work independently.
- A professional and respectful approach when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable nature.

**Remuneration**: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + Casual Loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**Requirements**:

- _Must _provide a_ _**National Police Check** conducted within the previous 12 months
