A new opportunity is now available for a diligent and experienced Educator and Facilitator to support our Residential Aged Care (RAC) home as
- Workplace Educator.
You will have the opportunity to identify and manage the education, training and compliance needs and in turn facilitate training across all areas of home operations including – clinical, hospitality, laundry, cleaning and more, supporting home compliance and developing colleagues’ to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance of our residential aged care teams. Reporting to the Regional Workplace Educator and supported by HR
- Learning & Development team, you will work closely with the Residential Manager and operational teams in this varied and hands on role. Your ability to engage effectively across all areas of operations, your curiosity to understand the business and passion for educating will be highly valued and critical to your success. Your days will include
• Facilitate and deliver ongoing education and training to all employees, supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Develop training calander/s and plans aligning with maintaining high compliance levels
• Coordinate and deliver induction and onboarding programmes for current employees
• Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and develop learning plans
• Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented learning environment
• Utilise blended learning methods and adult learning principles to maximise engagement and competency
• Monitor and report on compliance with training and onboarding plans, escalating issues as required
• Collaborate with managers, HR, and clinical teams to ensure training aligns with organisational needs The idea applicant is a Registered Nurse who has found their passion in education and training in an operational setting. You will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to deliver engaging training and coaching, and be highly organised, in addition to;
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
• Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration)
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating/delivering education and training programmes
- ideally within residential aged care
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety, Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to support other homes in times of need and obtain a police check
