**About the role**

Mater is looking for an **Accounts Payable Officer** to join our Group Finance department in a **maximum term full time, 12 month contract based at Mater Newstead.**

This role will ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable functions encompassing the input and matching of all accounts payable documents and records.

**Salary range: $36.51
- $40.81 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation and **access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900** + **access to many staff benefits!

**What you’ll be doing**
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoice information in the ERP system
- Manage invoice data entry into D365 system for uploads, general ledger, and purchase orders to maintain up-to-date financial records
- Review and monitor duplicate payments related to supplier accounts
- Resolve general accounts payable queries and issues for both internal and external customers, fostering positive relationships
- Perform data entry of adhoc accounts payable documents
- Assist in the administration of the petty cash and cabcharge facility
- Provide support in the administration of the corporate card facility administration to ensure compliance
- Assist in the clearance of prepayment balances in a timely manner
- Monitor monthly and assist in the reconciliation of creditor statements with timely follow-up on outstanding items
- Assist in the processing of GRNI related balances
- Undertake general accounts payable administration tasks, including filing and documentation management
- Deliver friendly and productive client services to suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support accounts payable leaders in various projects and activities
- Fulfill any other responsibilities as directed by the Accounts Payable Team Leader and/or Manager, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

**About you**
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounts payable role, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounts payable functions and processes
- Knowledge of general administration and accounts payable procedures
- Robust problem-solving skills and reconciliation knowledge
- Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to support accounts payable leaders in various projects and activities
