We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator (AO3) to join a busy HR team within a respected Queensland Government organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their HR experience across recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, reporting, and employee support functions. About the Role As the Human Resources Administrator, you will provide efficient and confidential HR administrative support across a broad range of people-related activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and delivering a high level of customer service. Key responsibilities include
- Providing HR administration support across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to separation
- Assisting with payroll processing and employment documentation
- Coordinating recruitment, selection and appointment activities
- Responding to HR and recruitment enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining HR, recruitment and payroll databases
- Preparing and analysing HR-related reports and data
- Coordinating learning management system administration and mandatory training requirements
- Facilitating HR inductions for new employees
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems and processes About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in HR administration
- Previous experience working within a Queensland Government or public sector environment is highly desirable and will be viewed favourably during the assessment process.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience working with HR, payroll or recruitment systems
- Strong data management and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A customer-focused approach and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team What's on Offer?

- Salary package of $77,355 – $85,834 plus superannuation
