Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and Recent Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting prospect to work on the Yarra Valley Water Reliability Program which is a nine (9) year program of works which will help to ensure reliable water supply to over two million people and over 61,000 businesses in the northern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We will be delivering a diverse range of water infrastructure projects to renew aging and poor performing water and sewer mains as well as various maintenance projects.

About you

This is fantastic opportunity for someone with prior experience as a foreman or leading hand in the water industry.

Must Have Qualifications:

We would be looking for an employee who has completed either a plumbing apprenticeship or Cert III in Civil Construction
- including the pipelaying component.

Main to Meter Training

Spotters Ticket

Asbestos Removal Class B Qualification

First Aid / CPR
