SMSF Accountant (Frankston)

THE ROLE Reporting directly to the SMSF Department Manager, you'll take ownership of end-to-end SMSF processing across the firm's superannuation portfolio. This is a technically rewarding role with genuine depth. No two funds are the same, and you'll be supported to build your expertise and grow with the firm. Day-to-day, you can expect to:
- Manage end-to-end preparation and processing of SMSF annual returns and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with superannuation legislation, ATO requirements, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather fund information, resolve queries, and deliver a high-quality outcome
- Review fund documentation, investment registers, and member reporting
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge-sharing across the team WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of SMSF accounting experience within an Australian public practice
- CA or CPA qualified (or actively completing your studies)
- Strong technical knowledge of superannuation compliance and fund administration
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely work
- Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- A collaborative, team-first attitude with a genuine desire to contribute
- Current Melbourne-based and able to attend the Frankston office in-person WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
