Pizza shop at Frankston South looking for Pizza chef

. Pizza chef is-responsible for preparing and baking pizzas, which includes making dough, saucing, and adding toppings according to recipes and customer requests. Key duties involve operating ovens, maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, managing inventory, and sometimes taking customer orders and providing service. They must work efficiently in a quick-paced workplace while ensuring food quality and safety standards also must have some knowledge cooking pasta .

Core responsibilities Pizza preparation:

Prepare the pizza dough, and apply sauces, cheeses, and a wide variety of toppings.

Baking:

Cook pizzas to perfection by operating and monitoring pizza ovens, ensuring correct temperatures and cooking times.

Customer orders:

Take food and drink orders, process payments, and handle special requests from customers.

Food quality:

Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and maintain consistent measurements and portion control.

Hygiene and sanitation:

Keep the kitchen, cooking surfaces, and equipment clean and sanitized at all times to meet health and safety standards.

Additional duties Inventory and stock:

Monitor food stock, manage supplies, unload deliveries, and communicate with a onwer or manager when more ingredients are needed.

Ingredient preparation:

Prepare raw materials for cooking by cutting vegetables and slicing meats.

Equipment maintenance:

Operate and clean various cooking equipment, including ovens, grills, and mixers.

Team collaboration:

Work with other kitchen and front-of-house staff, and follow directions from head chefs.

Menu support:

Assist with preparing other menu items like appetizers and salads, or suggest new recipes.
