**The Team & Role**
- As the friendly first contact for patients and visitors to Peninsula Care Group and Peninsula University Hospital, this multi-faceted role is responsible for dealing with phone and reception desk enquiries.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Assist visitors and staff with directions in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Demonstrated ability to operate the Switchboard and other relevant software associated with this role.
- Able to calmly deal with internal and external emergency calls/respond codesAssist with patient enquiries over the phone or in person in a friendly mannerPlease click here to see the position description.

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Basic Computer Skills
- A strong understanding and experience with customer service
- Previous Switchboard / Reception experience
- Aware of, interprets and applies policies
- Clear speaking voice
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and public holidaysPrevious experience in a health setting (desirable)**Advantages**
