Assistant Store Manager - Petrol, Convenience & Food …, Langwarrin

We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused, experienced and dynamic leader to join our team at the Service Station in Langwarrin area.

This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring exceptional customer service, effective team leadership, and efficient store operations with full compliance to company standards and procedures.

As an Assistant Store Manager, this full-time opportunity will see you play an integral role in success of this 24/7 retail store.

**What you'll be doing**
- Oversee daily operations of the fuel station and convenience store to ensure productive and seamless service delivery.
- Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with customers
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Drive sales performance by implementing effective promotional and operational strategies.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall success of the store
- Address customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Deputising for the Store Manager in their absence

**What we're looking for**
- A minimum of 2 years of retail management or supervisory role experience within the Petrol and convenience stores.
- Mandatory experience in petrol and convenience store operations.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in cash handling, inventory management and retail operations
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality service
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts if needed, including weekends and public holidays
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident or have full working rights

Pay: $60,000.00
- $70,000.00 per year
