The Team & Role The Office Coordinator is part of a small enthusiastic team in the Office for Research that manages research review and approval processes at Bayside Health (Peninsula). The Office Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the overall processes and functioning of the team. The Office Coordinator interacts with relevant stakeholders, both internal and external, prepares material and records the minutes for relevant committees within the Office for Research, engages in relevant projects and coordinates events, including Celebrating Research (Research Week). This is a dynamic, challenging and rewarding position, suited to a committed team player with demonstrated high-level administrative and organisational skills and knowledge of the role of a Human Research Ethics Committee and Office for Research. Skills & Experience Required
- Experience working in health service research office
- Experience with ERM database for review and approval of projects
- Knowledge of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
- A sound appreciation of privacy and confidentiality requirements and the ability to deal tactfully with confidential and sensitive material
- Ability to educate stakeholders in relation to ethics and governance review and approval systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills Experience in taking minutes and preparing agendas for important meetings Benefits
