General Educator / Lead Room Educator (Mount Eliza)

We are searching for individuals with vivid characteristics, dynamic skillsets, and collaborative synergy to form a new, passionate team of _early childhood education and care_ educators in 2025!

The most important aspects of your role as an educator or room leader will include
- Greeting and discussing with family members, to_develop a welcoming community culture._
- Planning and preparing activities and experiences for children, to_facilitate environments and resources that support their learning lifestyle. _
- Engaging and interacting with children in their play-based learning and discoveries, to_build reciprocal relationships and scaffold each child’s unique development._
- Participating in individual and team-based qualified learning sessions and experiences, to_further your career knowledge, skillsets, and fusion of our team’s abilities._
- Kidding Around Mount Eliza will be a newly renovated childcare centre, with multiple large outdoor spaces, holistically designed contemporary indoor spaces, and equipped with leading resources, for you and our team of educators to scaffold every child’s early learning and development._
- You will be part of our core team for the childcare centre, which extends to our first childcare centre in Frankston, with a team of over twenty, and a collaborative community of hundreds._
- As part of our team, you will be expected to uphold shared professional practices and our organisation’s values including integrity, respect, and responsibility in how you conduct yourself, represent our organisation, and be a role model for the children in your care._
- Your aptitude for teamwork will be a necessity, as qualities such as leadership communication, and collaboration will heavily be a part of daily practice and exceeding initiatives. _
- The first ‘Kidding Around’ Childcare and Kindergarten is a government-approved, long day care service, located in Frankston that has been family-owned and operated for over thirty years, facilitating up to 45 children ages 0-8 years old._
- Your position for this job will be located at our new childcare centre in Mount Eliza and will be adopting the same holistic philosophy, ethical values, passion and purpose as the Kidding Around service in Frankston. _

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00
- $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
