Job Summary As a Retail Sales Consultant, you are passionate about delighting Telstra’s customers through outstanding customer service. You achieve this by delivering an exceptional in‑store customer journey and, through a collaborative approach, empowering customers to identify the products and services that transform their telecommunications experience. Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by helping customers find the right products and services to suit their needs.
- Act as the go‑to tech expert, staying up to date with the latest gadgets and services to offer informed guidance and solutions.
- Use consultative selling skills to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs while keeping customers connected.
- Collaborate closely with the team to create a welcoming environment where everyone is supported to achieve store goals. Requirements
- Great communication skills: natural at connecting with people and improving their day.
- Solution‑oriented approach: able to think on your feet and tailor solutions for each customer.
- Sales drive: motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Passion for learning: eager to grow and develop current skills in a dynamic setting.
- Resilience and positivity: maintain a can‑do attitude, even when things get busy.
- Customer‑facing experience: prior experience is a plus but not required – enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential. Benefits
- Hourly rate of $30.33 (Junior rates apply for those under 20 years of age).
- Penalty rates: 25% for weekday hours after 6PM, 25% for hours worked on Saturday, 100% for hours worked on Sunday, and 150% for hours worked on public holidays.
