Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians – BP Kwinana Terminal
UGL is seeking experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians to join our established team at BP Kwinana Terminal. These are permanent positions.
About the Role Working Hours: Monday-Friday, with optional weekend work available. Location: BP Kwinana Terminal.
Mandatory Requirements Current, valid WA Electrical Worker’s License. Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31220 Cert III/IV). Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA). Current LVR/CPR certification. Construction Card, along with a current and valid driver’s license. Nationally accredited Working at Heights (WAH) certification.
Desirable Attributes Nationally accredited Confined Spaces Entry (CSE) certification. HRL – EWP certification. Brownfields project experience.
Key Responsibilities Installation of cable containment, cabling and electrical equipment. Installation of instrumentation & communication systems. Upgrading of current electrical & instrumentation systems. Statutory testing of electrical & instrumentation systems. Demolition & removal of redundant electrical equipment.Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Carry out scheduled testing of electrical equipment and installations.
