Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Vehicle (Fremantle)

With a fleet of over 190 prime movers and trailing equipment across WA, ACFS provides a technically diverse workshop environment supporting a multi-OEM fleet. We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our O’Connor workshop. What we offer
- $50 per hour (based on experience)

- Ongoing work across a varied and high-utilisation fleet About the role
- Diagnostics, fault finding and repair of heavy‑duty diesel engines, drivetrains and associated systems
- Servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs across prime movers and trailers
- Electrical fault‑finding including lighting, ABS/EBS and auxiliary systems
- Repairs and maintenance across OEM fleet including Mercedes, Kenworth, Fuso and UD
- Preventative maintenance in line with NHVR and manufacturer requirements
- Running repairs to maintain fleet availability and operational performance
- Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records What you bring
- Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (essential)
- Strong diagnostic capability across mechanical and electrical systems
- Proven experience working on heavy vehicle fleets in a workshop or fleet environment
- Ability to carry out repairs efficiently with a focus on minimising downtime
- Experience with fleet maintenance programs and defect rectification
- Sound understanding of heavy vehicle safety and compliance requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Solid attention to detail and workmanship standards
- HR or HC licence
