Maintenance Electrician (Fremantle)

Role Ventia is currently looking to engage a qualified and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our well-established team with our Department of Transport contract located in Fremantle Harbour. This full‑time position will see you performing reactive and preventive maintenance tasks in and around the harbour, including but not limited to lighting, power, navigational aids, vessel power outlets and testing & tagging. Whilst predominately based at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour this role will see you travel throughout the metropolitan area from Mandurah to Lancelin as well as sporadic travel to remote WA locations. This is a excellent opportunity if you like working out in the fresh air and enjoy the afternoon sea breeze. We are looking for someone who is hard‑working, self‑managing, safety‑focused and ready for their next challenge. This full‑time, permanent position works Monday to Friday, 07:00am–03:30pm with 1x RDO per month. The pay rate for this position is $48.72 per hour plus overtime opportunities. Experience
- Hold a WA A grade licence
- Hold an EWP & working at heights ticket
- Have experience in a maintenance electrical role
- Feel confident working on and around water
- Have fault‑finding experience
- Holding a coxswain ticket will be highly regarded Key Duties
- Responsible for completing electrical maintenance and repair work on marine structures
- Ensure inspection records are completed and maintained for required tasks
- Liaising with supervisors, client and public
