With a stunning fit out, a passionate team, and a strong focus on unforgettable guest experiences, we’re building one of Fremantle’s most exciting hospitality venues. The Role As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to lead and inspire the kitchen team while helping develop creative, seasonal menus that reflect the Cassia style and ethos. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to a chef who thrives in a rapid paced, quality driven environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining consistency, supporting day to day kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality and service standards. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in leading, training, and inspiring the kitchen team
- Assist in developing and executing fresh, seasonal dishes
- Help oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service
- Ensure high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and compliance
- Step into a leadership role during the Head Chef’s absence What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong experience with Modern Australian and seasonal cooking
- Positive leadership style and team first mindset
- Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and passion for guest experience
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts Requirements
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
